Major League Baseball has become the first sports league to ink a deal for an airline to stream live games on flights.

Southwest Airline's media provider signed with MLB to broadcast the games to passengers via smartphones, laptops, tablets or other Wi-Fi enabled devices. Row 44 is the company that is outfitting the entire Southwest fleet with in-flight broadband.

Now I won't have to miss a single pitch.  This is huge and just shows how many options air passengers are going to have in the future.

I hope this spills over into the other sports very soon.  To have Saints games or any football in-flight would be nice.

This will happen across the board pretty fast.  Just another market to tap advertising dollars.  No brainer.
