I would prefer the award going to Dye, Thome, Mauer, Morneau, Giambi or Jeter than Ortiz, if the Sox are out of the playoff. It would be quite surprising if Ortiz won the award, if the Sox fail to make the playoff.

No, you don't attack anyone in particular, you antagonize entire fanbases. That shit doesn't fly here.

What I find funny is that everyone else in this thread has been able to support thier arguments with logic and fact. You show up, insinuate that all Jeter supporters are pathetic, mouth off that anyone who doesn't agree with you has problems, and then you're surprised when you're called out on it.

You come into the Yankees forum and antagonize Yankees fans, and you will get blasted. You want to cry in your beans about how great Ortiz is and how everyone who doesn't agree with you is a moron, do it in the Sox forum.

HEY! BostonRedSox58 is obviously the most intelligent person in this forum, I mean seriously, he sees the title of this forum as "New York Yankees" and comes in here to insult us. THAT IS SO GOD DAMN SMART.

Ignore these four words.

Without Jeter, they will probably not be the first game either, because Giambi has not 100 RBI without Jeter. Jeter also deserve a chance for MVP, but power is what most voters seem to concentrate.
